The Parade passed through Thornton Park, along Central Avenue, and ended at Heritage Square, adjacent to Wall Street Plaza. A variety of participants enjoyed the reception of a friendly crowd (and only a few protesters) and finished the afternoon with a blend of music, comedy and speeches. RDC fans and Democrats were everywhere! Booths staffed by social, business, and political interests enhanced the experience, along with the 1st ever Central Florida GLBT History Exhibit in the History Center.
RDC took some pics to share on the web, but this is only a small taste of the fun!

RDC marchers carried pro-Democratic and
anti-Bush/Republican signs.
(Pictured: RDC President Luis Grajales,
carrying the RDC Banner & Democratic State Committeman Doug Head,
carrying the "I'm Too Smart to Vote Republican" sign)

A closer view of some of the RDC troop
poking fun at the President.
(FYI: The "WTF" sign is upside down -oops-
& Suzanne's sign is fully pictured below)

Orange/Osceola County Public Defender Bob
Wesley's truck carried some of RDC's group with (not-so-clearly)
handmade signs "My Dog Never Met A Bush He Didn't Like", "Bush + Dick =
Screwed" and "We're All Wearing the Blue Dress Now."
(Pictured left to right: Lakisha, Gerry,
Joe & RDC VP Ridge)

Orlando City Commissioner Patty Sheehan and
girlfriend threw beads to the crowd.
