Amendment 2 is a proposed
Constitutional Amendment to Florida's state
constitution. If approved by 60% of voters on
November 4th, it would not only define marriage as one
man and one woman, it would ban recognition of any
rights outside of legal marriage. That would
effectively bar future laws from recognizing civil
unions and would strip domestic partner benefits
forever.
RDC is committed to fighting passage
of Amendment 2 and asks you to join our efforts.
We want you to have the facts so you can educate others
that the "so-called gay marriage amendment" is not
simply about banning gay marriage. We also ask
everyone to donate as much as possible to the groups
fighting amendment 2. A well-funded campaign is
the only way we can win.
